Yes it is on Council land but they will not landscape it. They will only put a path and/or street tree if required. You may find the landscapers could "possibly" turf the area eventually but that's not for certain. In saying that, you will have to maintain just like everyone else. Thanks mate. Builder told me from today we can finish landscape within one year to get a Certificate of Occupancy without extra cost, if we finish landscape after one year, we have to pay for the application fee. However, I remember landscape must be finished within one year since construction certificate issued.. Do you know which one is right? Thanks. To be honest, there are lots of homes in GF which have not landscaped and they have been in for over 2-3 years. As for extra costs. I wouldn't know. We did our own landscaping and it was done within about 6 months of moving in. All we paid, was for an inspection to get our full OC. About $150 from memory.
