I wanted a skylight put in to my computer/study room but the sales rep & my other half talked me out of it-GGGRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now the light will have to be turned on if we use the room during the day. I knew I shouldn't have listened to them.We are 1/2 way through construction so if I change anything now it will cost me $500 just in admin fees then more on top. Make sure the power points are low to the ground cos theres nothing more annoying than to have them at about bedbase height and then try to have beds close to the wall with electrical items plugged in- it doesn' work! I put my power points at the side of our beds this time around, because it is impossible to get to them at the back, beds are too heavy to move and our last bed went all the way to the floor. Why not just add a skylight after handover? I recently had one put in my bathroom for $500 and it's great. Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. Re: Building first home.. what to include? 12Oct 21, 2009 10:49 pm My advise is don't pick paint colours from a paper brochure. Find the colours you like in a display home and get the product codes. My red front door came out more brown/red,my render came out much brighter than what I expected, my roof lighter than I thought, and my splashback lighter also. So it looks like we finally have some movement on site! Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point. I'll drop by over the weekend to get… 5 27725 Can anyone give me any onfo on New Homes WA? Good or bad, hopefully good just need to know if my choice was good or not?
