Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 18, 2009 2:25 pm Hi All, I'm new to this forum but enjoyed some of the reading. I'm currently facing problems with my Stadt Heating system. I bought a 15 yr old house and now in it for a month or so. At the time of final inspection, heating was turning on/off so I didn't bother to wait for 10 minutes to check whether it's blowing hot or just cold air. Now even it's on for 30 minutes, it's still blowing cold air and that's also not much. I went into my roof to check whether there is anything that I can do to fix this but no success. The switch to operate is on the wall and it's like a drag switch which you move to desired temperature level. It also has a glass outing displaying a clock like thing which I'm not sure off? What could be a problem here? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Re: Stadt heating system not blowing hot air??? 2Oct 20, 2009 1:15 am This may sound toooo simple ... but if its over 10 years old it probably does not have an Auto Gas Pilot and you may just need to relight the pilot ... Was a common problem with our old heater where i grew up.
