Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 16, 2009 10:57 am We're looking at building with Makro Constructions Pty Ltd, http://www.makrogroup.com.au/index.html based in Eltham, Victoria. We would appreciate any information, either on the board or by PM if you prefer, from anyone who has built with them. Thanks. Re: Anyone built with Makro Constructions? 3Oct 23, 2009 7:22 pm Yes, we would also like to hear from anyone who has built with these guys. They have been assigned as our builder but haven't heard of them before. Looked up their website which, was interesting.... Keen to hear from anyone who has heard of them. Re: Anyone built with Makro Constructions? 4Oct 25, 2009 9:44 pm Rowena Looked up their website which, was interesting.... I did the same. I've looked at one of their projects (Plenty Road, Bundoora) and walked around it from the outside but it doesn't tell me anything because it's a tilt-wall type multi-unit building. Not a lot of workmanship to see there unless someone manages not to join the walls. I'm inclined to think that a builder who can do several multi-unit developments should find managing a NBG house fairly straightforward. But I'd still like to hear from people who have built with them. Re: Anyone built with Makro Constructions? 6Sep 20, 2011 1:53 pm If you go with Makro Constructions ask for Phil A to be your builder. He is a gun. Good builders are very hard to find so use him. Had a builder who was 5 months over the due date, got Phil to take over and the house is done in 7 weeks. Polar opposites, cannot speak more highly of him. Thanks buddy.
