Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 15, 2009 8:50 pm Hello I am building a double storey (Wilshire) with Henley in the South Eastern Suburb of Victoria...we are in the lock up stage... my query is with regards to structural guarantees...can someone point me in the right direction w.r.t. 1. wherein the contract would the builder state his structural guarantee? 2. what is the norm? 3. Do most or all or Henley give structural guarantees for 25 years? I am a bit confused and trying to get my head around the fine print and have a feeling that the structural guarantee is just for a year? May be I am misunderstanding or missing out something? Appreciate your expert opinion /input to help me understand the above?
