I had totally forgotten about our Sales consultant, maybe I'll shoot her an email to get some clarification on things (She was so helpful always replying to emails and made it feel like nothing was too much trouble). I had also forgotten we have good friends building with the M & they said they had their contract signing prior to the electrical appoint, and have had about 10 'Variations to Contract'! They found the contract process frustrating too - but their build is going smoothly, so fingers crossed... Obviously she had had enough of my emails asking for explanations on this & that and asking for things that quite frankly werent too much to ask for. Our CSC & her superior / boss conference called hubby this morning (apparently CSC didn't say a word!), but the boss was able to explain things (which had CSC done in the first place I wouldnt have been so frustrated at - but the lack of communication was incredible!!!), and is chasing up the Studio M person for items we are still waiting on prices, getting the plans / working drawings to hubby today when he is there for the Electrical consult (as council now demand full working drawings when we applying for planning permisson). So by the sounds of things, a whole lot is being done by Metri today, which is good, but it shouldnt have got to this point!! Hopefully things will start to run a little smoother, fingers crossed anyway... Building the Milano30 Site start: 30th June 2011 PCI: 1st December 2011 Handover: As soon as the bank pays! Note there is a terrifc thread on here which posts 'M' upgrades and their prices which I found invaluable and I can always send through the electrical pricelist if you need it - just PM me with an email address to flick it through to if you need (can't remember if we've had that conversation or someone else - clearly going mad (!) - but the information is there if you want it). Just a tip as you go into the selections process - my oh my - you can never be prepared enough! I look back and think I might have made a few different decisions around speciifics - colours of downpipes, fascia, type of garage door etc - if I'd done a bit more homework and looked at what others have done in developing estates - and the Studio M thing happens like lightning.. so use these 'delays' to get really sorted... make them work for you.
