Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 12, 2009 1:01 pm I was told Kevin was booked at this stage, but another inspector in his comany is available. I am wondering if anyone has used his service before and how is it? TA Re: Did anyone use inspectors from New Home Inspections 2Oct 12, 2009 5:44 pm I met with Greg on site today. He appeared to be very thorough, first checking where H3nley had rectification work to do from the frame inspection before going on to do the pre-plaster inspection. I had a few questions to ask, and Greg was very good at explaining whether what I observed was what should be expected or not, and why. I was not able to follow him around as walking is very painful for me after a week flat on my back due to a shin infection. Hence, I probably did not find out as much as when I was able to follow Kevin as he made the inspection. At the end, I asked about a few more issues that I had noticed, and Greg had picked up on all of them. I expect the report in a few days, and hopefully will be able to say more then, but the initial signs are very good. Re: Did anyone use inspectors from New Home Inspections 4Oct 13, 2009 11:54 pm We used New Home Inspections for our new home, We had Kevin and couldn't recommend him or his company highly enough. Very thorough in his inspections. We built the Brookvale 27 by Homes Now (NBG). Cheers, jamestheoz Re: Did anyone use inspectors from New Home Inspections 5Oct 23, 2009 4:28 pm Thanks for your good wishes, mango lover. We were happy with the report sent to us from New Home Inspections, but a little disappointed that after promising the report within two days, it actually took a week. I left a number of messages in this time but did not receive a call back to explain why the report was held up or when it would be ready.
