What a fantastic early Christmas pressie!! Does anyone know why he decided to drop the case? Re: Neighbour from hell - taking council to court 85Nov 18, 2009 10:06 pm Tha'ts fantastic news. Congrats. And what a lovely early christmas present for you. yippee Re: Jas_Wants_A_House - received a tentative start day 86Feb 22, 2010 2:57 pm Hi everyone, Everything is back on track (sort of). Received a tentative start day - March 9th from the builder. Knowing our luck, it might be 2 weeks delay and it's not going to bother me. However, we need to cut a couple of trees before the start day - we applied for tree removal from Hornsby council and we wanted to remove 2 trees and they only approved for one. I think just after their inspection, termites have invaded to the tree that they didn't want us to remove - just a normal gum tree. We are asking for review and hope they will approve the removal before the start day. Re: Jas_Wants_A_House - received a tentative start day 87Feb 23, 2010 10:43 am Great news Jas - hope your 2nd tree issue gets resolved. How's your objecting neighbour going? I hope they don't give you any trouble during the build. Rgds Leonard. Re: Jas_Wants_A_House - received a tentative start day 88Feb 23, 2010 6:42 pm Thanks Leonard, My lovely neighbour - haha, he got upset when the plumper left some dirt on the road while digging for water connection and got upset because the same plumber ruined another neighbour's lawn during the digging and that particular neighbour was OK with it. I still say hello to him and his wife when I see them - I am a bigger person than he is. I feel sorry for him, what a miserable life he's having. We've told the builder about him so they can be careful not to step on his toes. The weather should be a bit kinder to your lap pool/trench this week - can't wait to see the walls! 4 6827 you need to understand the breakdown of warranties. 90 warranty is considered as minor defects rectification period where as the longer ones are more major/structural… 1 5346 Yes you are correct, unless there are outside works which form part of the contract such as landscaping or driveways, and importantly, the work delayed is on the critical… 1 3531 |
