Total bonus as we are going to put some planting in crevises. Its a nice feature wall. Re: Our shutters are in 10Oct 12, 2009 9:17 am Ooh, they look beautiful... can I ask where you got them from and what type of shutter they are? (eg: are they basswood?) Re: Our shutters are in 11Oct 12, 2009 9:28 am thanks princessfee, we got them from modern blinds and shutters and I think they are based in G.Coast. They are vinyl shutters with the wider blade and you can adjust both top and bottom differently. We opted for the vinyl shutters instead of wood as they have a 20yr gurantee and the fact they look stunning. The shutters are custom made in australia and take about 4-6 weeks. Congrats Totally aggree, they add something to the room that makes it simplistic yet elegant. We are going for minimal furniture in this area as the shutters gives that impact on its own. So thanks everyone for all your nice comments. Re: Our shutters are in 15Oct 12, 2009 12:13 pm wow those shutters are just beautiful, make it all look so light and breezey, i love it!! Re: Our shutters are in 19Oct 12, 2009 2:35 pm Thank you all for your kind comments we are really pleased with how our house has come along. We also put shutters in the master bdrm as it faces the front of the house, will have to get a pic from the road to show how they look from the outside. Hels, maintenance was also a big factor in us getting the vinyl ones...so less housework for me lol. Re: Shutters...now driveway 20Oct 14, 2009 12:26 pm Well, our driveway went in yesterday just before the big storm so very lucky. Now just need to start the lanscaping to the front. Driveway still needs to have the expansion cuts added as they usually wait a week to do this. Coming along nicely.
