Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 05, 2009 7:46 pm Hi all. So I'd thought I might as well chuck my progress report up on here to. It hasn't been all plain sailing with HB. Delays along with a 20k increase for footings . We had our colors finalized back in August. But due to the head honchos they told us to change some basins after we got the ok. We just went along with as it was being delayed left right and center. Other then that all good. One quick question, does the electrical cable have to be tied back to the frame work regardless of internal insulation or not. As I have been slugged a $300 fee for excatly that along with a $250 variation fee. Here are some pics of the block and area. I'll post the floor plans up a bit later, so let me know what you guys think. The pics are a bit fuzzy cause image shack re sized em DJ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: First Timer Building the Chandler MKII 2Jan 23, 2010 9:39 am Hi there! Can't believe i have found someone building the Chandler Alfresco - we are about to sign up to build the Preston which is basically the same house! Land is on hold and we are making a few changes to the Preston at the moment and waiting for the ok to come back regarding them. What is your block size? Did you make any changes to the Chandler? Did you go with 2700mm ceilings? Not pleased to hear about your extra for footings? They have said to us that $20K allowance should be plenty - I hope ours dont go overthat! Can anyone give me any onfo on New Homes WA? Good or bad, hopefully good just need to know if my choice was good or not? Thanks ❤️ 0 8948 That is a really good attitude Akin to you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
