Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 04, 2009 9:51 pm I am having trouble deciding on colorbond roof colour for our new house we are building in Perth. So far our colours are: Cream bricks - Milano (or second choice Limestone Hue) by Midland brick White window/door frames Roof - I was thinking of using windspray colorbond roof Any suggestions of whether you think windspray would suit. Would it be enough contrast to cream bricks? Also gutter and fascia colours? Was thinking windspray gutters and white fascia and poles. Any help would be appreciated! Not the best at making colour decisions! Re: Help with colours of roof please!! 2Oct 04, 2009 11:49 pm Can I suggest you add this to your old thread, instead of starting a new one. Re: Help with colours of roof please!! 4Oct 05, 2009 12:16 am I think windspray will give it a nice contrast. Have you thought of monument colorbond? I think its a bit darker than windspray. My preference is to use the same colours for roof, gutters and fascia, but this is just my personal opinion. I do not suggest monument, it is basically black, and black has very poor energy efficiency, you should go a light roof. Re: Help with colours of roof please!! 6Oct 05, 2009 9:44 am Thanks Stephen for your comments. I've looked at Woodland Grey which is the next shade darker than windspray, but I feel its a bit too dark for my liking - apparently darker colours fade more too. We are building in a sanddune/coastal area so don't want anything too heavy looking.
