Then the cornice is done in a few days, and the flushing is done in a few days. Or are you double brick? Re: plastering ?? how long should it take 4Oct 03, 2009 2:09 pm Yep, all of mine were done in a few days, but they did the cornice of my bedrooms and stopped. After the kitchen was installed they came back and did the rest of the cornice in the lounge. I think the cornice guy had to wait until the bulk heads were in for the kitchen and linen cupboards. Don't get too stressed about the timing of things, it happens when it happens. Once it is at lock up it drags and drags, and the worst part is you can't get in to see it. All my showerscreens, taps, rails, toilets are in but I can't get in to look, all I have are the empty boxes in my bin to look at.
