Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building Millbank Fusion with S!m0*ds 21Oct 02, 2009 3:28 pm How weird, we almost built the HIllcrest but just didn't fit quite on my block properly (and I hated the pokey kitchen)! Think the parchment ones are a standard brick too so might check them out as my back up, thanks for the tip! How have you been finding dealing with Simonds so far? Any problems? I read so many horror stories it has me nervous... Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating.... They look great also. I have found them great so far. No problems at all. I think that when ur building a house tho u have to expect little things to go wrong here and there, i dont think it is ever going to run perfectly smooth. And if you go into the process expecting no problems then u will be disappointed! We deal with S!m0*ds here in Geelong, as i am a mortgage broker amd we get referrals from them. I have to be honest and say about 20 clients have moved into their houses, and not one has a complaint about them, they are all very happy. So that is pretty good feeback i think Re: Building Millbank Fusion with S!m0*ds 23Oct 05, 2009 7:43 pm Hi Elana - have my colour selection this coming saturday! Just wondering, what facade did you go with, just traditional? And do you have a list of your kitchen/bathroom cupboards etc? Would love to haev a sticky beak! Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Re: Building Millbank Fusion with S!m0*ds 25Oct 07, 2009 9:03 am Hi Elana8, can i ask how much did you pay to change the window to Awning? Blog - http://clageonewhouse.blogspot.com/ Building Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10886&hilit=milan I am in, with my husband and my beautiful bunny Re: Building Millbank Fusion with S!m0*ds 27Oct 07, 2009 11:09 am Elana8 Hi Claego, It cost me $959 for 5 full length awning windows on my front facade. Elana Hey Elana can I ask a stupid question - are awning windows the long skinny ones? So are you having 3 in your main and 2 in your other room (can't remember if yours is a lounge or study). I quite like them, might change mine too..... Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating.... Yes awnings are the windows that wind out from the bottom, not sliding windows. They are the long skinny ones I have 3 in the bedroom, and 2 in the study (Cos the study is smaller and doesnt need 3). I think they make the house look heaps nicer but thats just my opinion!
