Browse Forums Building A New House Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4601Jan 13, 2014 12:48 pm does anyone have cost for the following upgrades please? Just want to get some ideas. - timber look garage door - entry door timber doors not the merbau ones - soft close drawers - carpet underlay cat 2 or cat 3 - laminex silk to kitchen cupboards - translucent glazing per door thanks heaps. Appreciate any info Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4602Jan 13, 2014 1:22 pm For the soft closers, we spoke to SC on the weekend, and its apparently $28 for Carlisle Classic, $82 for Hettich, and $102 for Hafele, prices are per drawer I believe. From what we tried in Spectra, the Classic ones were a little clunky, but still functioned well enough, Hettich and Hafele ones were very smooth, Hafele runners looked nice (but it IS the priciest one after all). Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4603Jan 13, 2014 2:21 pm Hi All, I am new to the forum, although I have been following it for the last couple of months. Everyone's information is so helpful. We are building the Orlando 35 in the South East. I have attempted numerous time to get price guides from our various Carlisle Contacts but they say we must wait until Tender. Tender is 27th February, instead of being put on the spot at Tender, we would like to know if someone can help us with some price guides with the following: * there are tiles on the Sorrento home, we would like these tiles on our façade. E.g. the Nevada display home uses the Bentley façade and there are tiles on the main pillar. what is the price estimate of a normal tile feature. i kno this varies, but any information is helpful * upgrade to Smeg induction cooktop. We get the technika free standing oven and cooktop, but looking to upgrade to smeg induction cooktop, which means they would fit a standard built in oven * additional render to front of house – top half and pillars come with free render with façade, but would also like render on bottom half and garage at the front – cost estimate for this? * space for double fridge and water for ice dispenser? After my tender i am happy to put the cost of my additions in this forum. Thanks in advance Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4604Jan 13, 2014 2:42 pm Alexvi05 does anyone have cost for the following upgrades please? Can't really help with most of those costs, but for the tiles if you saw similar at a display home ask the sales consultant there for the list of upgrade costs on that house, should list it on there. I think a water point for the fridge is roughly 260, but can't remember exactly what I was told. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4605Jan 13, 2014 3:17 pm Alexvi05 does anyone have cost for the following upgrades please? Just want to get some ideas. - timber look garage door - entry door timber doors not the merbau ones - soft close drawers - carpet underlay cat 2 or cat 3 - laminex silk to kitchen cupboards - translucent glazing per door thanks heaps. Appreciate any info timber look garage door - Decowood colour Chesnut $1,355 entry doors timber not the merbau - but merbau is timber - all depends on what you want that is other than std. To upgrade to 2 x 2340 x 820 Infinity 8G with translucent glazing was $2,031 - to upgrade to single 2340 x 1200 pivot Infinity 8G front door (largest size) was $2,318. soft close drawers - is std on affinity - not sure T Range - but we upgraded to Hettich Inno Tech soft drawers tom pot drawers and cutlery - 17 drawers in total $1,394 so that's $82 per drawer. Cat 3 carpet underlay "super premium" Milano house - entire upstairs and study and home theatre downstairs was $1,489. Laminex silk - we went vinyl wrap which is expensive - there are some figures in earlier posts on laminex silk and its quiet cheap i thought. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4606Jan 13, 2014 3:50 pm In the latest promotion, soft closers are not included in Affinity homes (so we asked SC to give us a cost breakdown), though the cost isn't HUGE, still a little pricy for the Hettich and Hafele high class stuff. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4607Jan 13, 2014 3:54 pm Are soft close worth the cost of an upgrade? What exactly do they do? Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4608Jan 13, 2014 4:10 pm Has anyone gone for a "all brick "( rendered) in leiu of the rendered foam sections of a double storey?? Was there a credit given for the renderee foam? I beleive it can be done.. i have seen it. I was after the timber on spectra i think colorbond garaged doors cedar or caoba dawn? is this what you have? im pretty sure it was at spectra - but that was mid last year - on our colour selection document its listed as "Dynamic Deco Wood - Tuscan profile Colour - Chesnut" - its the same as the Nelson display at Merdna. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4615Jan 14, 2014 7:59 am Wirepower, the soft closers that were included previously were the Carlisle Classic ones, which are priced at $28, functional but not as smooth as the Hettich ($82) and Hafele ($102) ones, also a little clankier. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4617Jan 14, 2014 1:22 pm Wirepower Thought so, wish they brought up the options when we did our selection at spectra. Prob would of paid that bit extra to upgrade the standard soft closers you can easily retrofit soft close drawers after handover- ive seen them at Bunnings - didn't look at prices - and there are plenty available on sites such as ebay - try one and see how it goes. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4619Jan 15, 2014 7:52 am Thanks bt91 for the feedback. very helpful. * has anyone here have tiles on the their facade, can you advise how much this cost. * anyone increased their kitchen space to fit a double fridge? * what about extra render, any idea on price per square metre for extra render through carlisle THanks again Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4620Jan 15, 2014 6:24 pm Anyone found the upgrade cost to smeg cooktop in lieu of technika? Or do you know how much rebate they would give for the dishwasher if not taking it? Looking at reviews they're like 90% negative just worried. any thoughts 0 5023 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6226 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14182 |
