Should be in by Christmas wheeeeeee!! Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 2433Nov 14, 2011 10:29 pm apple88 Hi mqtutor, did carlisle tell you what the bushfire protection cost is for? ie what will they be adding to your house? If I paid the initial deposit before the bushfire regulations come in, does it mean that the base price includes bushfire requirement? thanks. From what i remember, the bushfire protection thing is an assessment. Not an added protection to your house. this is required for the building permit and was brought in after the black Saturday fires if i remember correctly. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 2434Nov 14, 2011 11:08 pm Check this document out - it explains what has to be done to your house at different levels of bushfire prone /ember zone rating. From this you should be able to determine what you require vs. the standard inclusions and what you upgrades you are paying for: http://www.buildingcommission.com.au/re ... arch10.pdf Page 10/11 shows the different ratings and what is needed. This document is a bit old - i cant seem to find a newer one. Hope this helps though! I don't see it mention in our tender. Hi mqtutor, Rock removal is included if you are taking the fixed site cost with Carlisle. You should be able to see this in the contract. ___________________ Building with Carlisle Homes, Montrose 36 in Point Cook http://www.pointcookfb.blogspot.com/ Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 2439Nov 18, 2011 9:03 am cuppyccake mqtutor Hi Carlisler does anyone knows if rock removal, also blasting and breaking are included in Carlisle site cost?? Yes, I have fixed site cost. I found the tender is vague compare to my brother builder (one of big 5). The presenter called and assured me that there will be no hidden cost. Should I ask her to put it in writing? They have been quite good and live up the promise. ___________________ Building with Carlisle Homes, Montrose 36 in Point Cook http://www.pointcookfb.blogspot.com/ 0 5070 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6295 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14284 |
