Good luck with Handover today bicko123 thanks for the reply, $7k sounds like a great price for site costs. Carlisle site costs include things that other builders spring on you later; temp fences, crushed rock to driveway, sediment control barriers, materials handling fee (if less than 2m access on all sides), scaffold to roof over certain height or less than 2m clear space. I think there was a couple of other inclusions, but can't recall them off hand. Building Carlisle Homes "Monaco" @ The Avenue at Casey What's happening?... I had to rummage thru boxes to find info for Pinchy and pm..... coz HANDOVER TODAY Carlisle Homes 'Savannah 28' Visit our Blog: http://www.oursavannah28.blogspot.com Handover 31st March, 2011 - Landscaping completed Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 1977Mar 31, 2011 7:40 am one thing that did drive me nuts with the site costs was things like sediment control, temp fencing, guard rails, driveway protection, crushed rock should be included in the base price of the house. you should be able to build a house with all standard inclusions on a flat block with m class slab for the advertised price. no extras... however i do know that Carlisle do their site costs way better than Porter Davis. they told up upfront all the costs to expect. BTW Porter Davis suck!!! lol Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 1978Mar 31, 2011 11:07 am Quote: however i do know that Carlisle do their site costs way better than Porter Davis. they told up upfront all the costs to expect. We've been framed Our site supervisor called and informed me that our frame is complete and we got arrangements underway for the frame inspection next week by New Home Inpsections. So far all's going well (with the odd minor item) which is already on the SS's list for sorting out - as per other people's impressions, he seems a very good guy to deal with. All up, I'm very happy we've gone with Carlisle - very easy to deal with so far. Wow, thats nice AlexandH... any pics of your newly framed house? ___________________ Building with Carlisle Homes, Montrose 36 in Point Cook http://www.pointcookfb.blogspot.com/ 0 4986 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6167 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14121 |
