But I think I'm ok with the expansion joint. I think I'll manage to get over it - besides I want to put real hard wood timber floors in in a few years so i was even thinking of voiding my warranty and going without! But I think the entry with tiles would look nice I am also planning to have the real hard wood timber floors in a few years time. Do you think it'll be a big job to rip off tiles in the entry at the time? Tiles to the entry didn't look bad at all at the Westbury 26 at Williams Landing. Ever paid a visit there? Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 1499Jul 20, 2010 4:01 pm We just sold our unit where we ripped up tiles and I swore I'd never do it again!! It makes soooo much mess and it was back breaking work!! Yes I visit Williams landing all the time I think I'm addicted to visiting display homes!!!!. I have also seen them in the Tarneit ones I think in the Monaco they have the entry hallway in tiles and the family/kitchen in floating floor boards. I like it especially if you do a nice feature tile and really make it a grand entrance!!
