I'd definitely invest in it. nicnbam.blogspot.com Hi NicNak, Thank you very much for your reply. Wow! We didn't expect sarking is so efficient on energy saving. We should give it a second thought then. Yes, the LEDs are SO SO SO expensive. I just want to upgrade the living area and bathrooms to LEDs as it looks nicer in my opinion. Do you know if it is easy to add LEDs on Ground Floor ceiling in a double storey house? PS you got a nice sales[/quote] When you do your electrical appointment, just inform your electrical consultant which light will be replace with LED downlight and she will put a note in your plan. She will also point out a disclaimer that they cant guarantee that the light will be in a straight line etc. I havent got to the build stage yet, but some H1 members also point out that you must double check that the builder dont put the light near rafter/struts during the build stage, which can cause problem down the track. We feel it is quite hard to contact our CLE. 90% of our calls to her went to her voice mail. If we were lucky, we got her call back next day. Most of time we heard from her 2or 3 days later. We left her a message last week and haven’t heard from her yet this time. We keep telling yourself being more patient. I can understand she might be very busy but is this normal? Will we need to contact CLE during construction? If so, I hope our queries can be attended more timely. Thanks Hi Mellily , consider yourself lucky , I have send emails to my CLE every week during last 3 weeks to follow up some of my query - No response at all ! My concern is whether this has become a standard practice of CH or just me be unlucky. Carlisle's customer charter state "Respond to you within 1 working day of all inquiry" - Or this statement is outdated now ? Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 6618Oct 06, 2015 10:04 am B_Bear Quick question. Has anyone opted for the pillarless alfresco doors? I know it's available in the Affinity range, but don'y know about the T-range. We're building the Hansen 29. I know it's an expensive option but it looks so good - has massive visual impact to inside and creates so much more space. Was anyone able to get this option in a T-range home? Thanks! Edit: Don't actually know what the option is called, or what to refer to it as. But I'm sure you all know what I mean... Pictured below Hi Bear This is called Corner Entertainment Door , not sure T range , but in A range , this cost around 5K for upgrade (2340mm high) Wish it helps Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 6619Oct 06, 2015 10:08 am Scott2233 Hi Bear This is called Corner Entertainment Door , not sure T range , but in A range , this cost around 5K for upgrade (2340mm high) Wish it helps Thankyou Scott. I'm still waiting to hear back from them to see if it's possible in the T-Range. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 6620Oct 06, 2015 11:00 am I have had problems with the CLE communications as well. Looks like it is becoming a trend with CH or maybe it is the one CLE that is slack. Maybe it is time for a product review post as they only seem to pay attention to the reviews there. 0 5036 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6243 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14208 |
