Today I took the trek out to Clyde (from Epping) so I could see the Merdian. It's on display there, right next to the ascot. AND, I like to ascot better! It flows much better. So, have given up on the bigger bedrooms for a smarter looking house. So, still waiting on some prices, but looks like we will be building the ascot 29 along with you Check out my thread for our Ascot 35 build. It's a wonderful house and we couldn't be happier! Will post some more recent updated pics when I am at a computer. Building the Ascot 35 with Carlisle Homes in Pasadena Estate, Clyde VIC My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59776 Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 3766May 22, 2013 6:02 pm Jason-Vic Vetra43 Thanks a lot Jason. I was after the different configuration options (standard and options that are free of cost) for over head cupboards, potdraws island bench etc. ALso speaking of microwave provision, is it just a laminate open shelf they call as microwave provision? Not sure how it looks because all display ones are shown with prefitted technika MW, which we don't want. Do you have nay pictures if you don't mind? Pretty much no variation other than the Microwave to draw is free in our Infinity range home (you also lose the power point). We are only going to contract soon & don't know / won't have pictures of what you are after unfortunately in regard to the space. Everything else incurs change and there isn't many standard variations to the kitchens from what I've seen (however ask Carlisle for full information) I would suggest asking Carlisle directly / see if you can see what is around the edges/base of the microwave if possible. Thanks jason, Will talk to them at colours. Also Does anybody here know how the upgraded staircase looks like, I am not interested in the balusters or the railing, its just to see how thats sitting on top of the wall and if I like the workman ship. any help would be appreciated. I am thinking of going to timber instead of carpet, and CH quoted about 4100 for that. But the wording the sales quote is somewhat cryptic given that I don't know what different parts of stairs are called Here is what I see in the quote , if somebody could help? Provide full stained KDHW Newel posts, stingers, treads and risers to common $4,163 staircase design in lieu of standard painted Pine newel post, MDF stringers, treads and risers to the Vetra 43147MK2 Note: All treads to include routed non-skid grooves to the front edge Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 3767May 24, 2013 11:53 am Vetra43 Jason-Vic Vetra43 Thanks a lot Jason. Yeah we did the whole corner stacker doors, removing the pillar that separates the two sliding doors. This option costs about $4.5k. I love it though! Well worth it! Overheads were pumice, all others were parchment. So, who knows how long between promos? We've put our deposit down, but can apparently switch to a new promo if a suitable one comes up before we get to tender. The house we're building, Ascot 29 has gone up 3k, but depending on next promo it could be worth taking up new offer. So, who's been watching carlisle for a long time, do promos come back to back usually, or a few mths in between? And do old promos get current again, or always something new?
