Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Big Red's Burbank Brewery - Moving to Europe. 262Jun 01, 2010 9:15 pm fazmac Spose its up to me to ask the main question. Whats happening to the Pool table? This was and is the most important part of the build. Brilliant question. I'm a lined out straight to the point kind of bloke, so the answer to this is simple: - Haven't a bloody clue! The blog/thread will still continue until completion, and things change in my career (and personal life) very quickly. So for all I know, in 6 months time I'll be back living in Australia. Pool table will wait until when/if I'm based perm. in Australia again. Cheers, Big Red Re: Big Red's Burbank Brewery - Moving to Europe. 263Jun 03, 2010 2:08 am Blog's been updated - * Thrown a few more dazzlers on there for you all. (Thanks again Jimmy. I have to head back to Australia in the next 2-3 months to finalize the house, sell the car, and pack my bags. Gotta head to Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore on the way back. Should be a bit of fun for me over the next few months! You interested in a VZ Commodore? Some people don't have time to do the job right the first time, but seem to have plenty of time to fix their mistakes. Build Thread Re: Big Red's Burbank Brewery - Moving to Europe. 269Jun 09, 2010 9:23 am Richo All those posters, and so many features that I was envyous of, whats the plans for them? And what about that horse head pillow? I'll be landing in Victoria Bitter land once the house is complete and ready to move in. I'll ******* make sure that Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Tony Montana and the Corleone family look over the house in their frames. The horse-head pillow? I received this a couple of weeks ago, but I have yet to see the pictures of it. This bad boy is coming with me to Europe. I'll squish the bastard into my luggage if I have to. The house is probably going to be "house-sat" by a couple of family members, until I return. Cheers Re: Big Red's Burbank Brewery - Plastered! 270Jun 19, 2010 2:35 pm Update: The house is plastered, but more importantly, so am I! At the final stage now. Not 100% sure, exactly what 'Final Stage' means, but I suspect it means an increase in my home loan payments! Not long left now. Cheers, Big Red! P.S: I found Victoria Bitter in Amsterdam. Life is good. Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: Big Red's Burbank Brewery - Plastered! 278Jul 09, 2010 10:48 am Gents and Birds, Just pushin' through the pile of work, and figured it was time to fire through an update on the progress of me house. On the same note - the blog is a lost cause. Everything is complete with the exception of: - Electrical fit-out - Carpet For those who are reading this thread, and have yet to decide on a builder, do yourself a favour and check out Burbank. I've only really spoken to three lovely ladies from their team; however, all of them have done a sensational ******* job. Their work ethic, their attention to customer service has exceeded my expectations. Anyways, enough of the soppy crap. I do have some additional good news. I've spoken to Fosters in Australia, and they're currently in the process of crushing through the cans to see if they locate a distributor in Amsterdam for Victoria Bitter! On a side note, don't ever come to the Netherlands when they're in a Soccer World Cup. You'll be deafened by the crappy horns, the car horns, the tram horns, the bus horns, and anything else that "horns" (including Hoorn - inside joke). However, "hup Holland hup" (go Holland go). Cheers, Big Red! Re: Big Red's Burbank Brewery - Plastered! 279Jul 12, 2010 8:50 am Hey red Nice to hear good things about Burbank. How's Europe treating you? Still no plans to come back and live in your house??? Re: Big Red's Burbank Brewery - Plastered! 280Jul 13, 2010 11:42 am Hey Erin, Europe is expensive (obvious, but seriously 20 Euro / 28 AUD for a single serve of Lasagna and a large pizza? - which I might add was absolutely ****) Ahh well. Plans to move into Pakenham? Still a possibility. At the moment, there's about 4-5 countries where I can possibly live. It all depends on what suits me and the company I work for. It changes on a weekly basis - don't ever work in IT! How's everything in your new joint Erin?
