Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building on narrow block in WA 2Sep 27, 2009 8:42 pm Hi, we're waiting on plans to be drawn up for our house on a 12m block. I know that Impressions (the builder we've chosen) do 10m frontage designs. It really depends on your budget, but they are at the cheaper end (think ~ $140k base price) Some builders are not interested in narrow lots, its too hard I think The only thing is depending on the zoning you might not be able to fit in a double garage, ours is r25 (i think!) and we only just scraped in having a garage. This is because we're not allowed to have it taking up more than 50% of the facade, and a standard double garage is about 6m. Good luck!! ~*~Moved in on the 16th April 2011~*~ Re: Building on narrow block in WA 3Sep 28, 2009 12:01 am I would give Shelford a ring.
