OMG I would have DIED if that happened to me. So are you definitely getting the cheque today then?? I have to say, some of the people at K-start are not helpful and forget that they are talking to real people and not numbers

I was more than furious trust me! ive spoken to them again this morning as I wanna get started ready for the move on sunday but they assure me I cant pick it up any sooner than 3pm

and my CLO finishes at 4pm

bah!

will be leaving for the city at 2pm and sittin in their reception until 3pm and bolting to the office..

everything else has been going so well! stupid finance companies *sulks*

How come they can't release the cheque to you until after 3pm?? Bit odd

Don't worry, you'll make it in time. We had our appointment with CLO at 3:45pm and didn't leave city till nearly 3:30pm

We felt stressed and rushed, but when we arrived the CLO took her sweet time to come down and see us!!!

jodie80 - im not sure why they make you wait that long! i requested a cheque at 10am yesterday when all this started and they said 3pm tomorrow being today, makes things harder as I wanted to get in straight away to get a head start

its the office next to woodside in the city. so will leave in half hour and see how I go

hehhehe thanks yup we sealed most of the house. only need to do the other 3 bedrooms and the theatre and the house is sealed

tested all the lights etc and fans and they all work..

still hasnt sunk in that we now have a home

painting will be done on sunday and monday and anything that will fit in my subaru will go across

my feets are killing me now.. standing for that long.. oh well!

ugh your not wrong about it being tiring

done about 3-4 car loads of stuff today just small things that I can carry, more poor cat Minx is going nuts as Im coming and going so often.. I have a feeling he will freak out when it comes his time to pack his toys and leave

not looking forward to that bit..

have left all the large items til tomorrow, borrowing dads ute to get the large items and then will have to come back here to clean..

have my work christmas party at burswood casino tonight and ive lost all energy to go

and stinking weather is soooo hot! bah must stop whinging!

will be our last sleep in the rental tonight

can not wait

mwahahha using net whilst at work

well we got moved in on last sunday.. tipped 45 degrees that day and we felt all of it

started painting on wednesday and got our bedroom and walk in robes done.. now started out ensuite and then next the front hall way and living areas.. nothing else will be done til the 6 month maintenance

still finding it strange to have a house to ourselves.. geting to make our own changes is whats making it real

met one of our neighbours yesterday. 2 single dads from the UK.. one lives near where my partner was born was hillarious listening to them both..

will get pics soon

well since we have moved in and ive been on holidays (now back at work tho) we have mainly put most things away and also started painting.. also went and bought some cool light fittings also to snaze up the rooms a little.. heres some pics.. dont mind the messy house :oops:

Our rental has screws and hooks all over the place, but strangely not in normal positions

Will be great when we can put up a pic with hooks in the right spot
