Oh, that isn't good - I really hate it how they take so much time off over Christmas/New Year.
Well, I'll wait with you as well and I hope they are there nice and early on the 15th!!!

Ruralife Oh, that isn't good - I really hate it how they take so much time off over Christmas/New Year. Well, I'll wait with you as well and I hope they are there nice and early on the 15th!!! Last week was the first time we have had any progress in months. The insulation and plaster went in. Pics below. Still to decide on pendant for over bench, meals area light and masterbedroom light. Re: NBG Manhattan - locked up 843Jan 30, 2011 8:01 pm Noticed your place with the plaster the other day, yay! That wallpaper is gorgeous!!! Would love to see pics of the lights Re: NBG Manhattan - March handover 844Jan 30, 2011 8:14 pm Thanks Erin. Yeah, they finally plastered on Thursday/Friday. I thought it odd that the electricals still aren't quite right, but he assured me that all is ok and that this can be done after the plaster ( ) Also, we finally settled on a flooring place. PTF couldn't be bothered returning our calls/emails. Last week on the public hol, we were driving through Coburg up to the block (a different way for a change) and went Melbourne Floor Direct. Had a chat and they were great. We paid a deposit with these guys for the bamboo flooring. Same product as PTF but at a cheaper price We also went to Harvey Norman that day to check out the carpet that you guys got, as we've changed our mind from deep purple to charcoal, but there is a 14 week delay so we will have to stick with Carpet Call (we already paid a deposit with them last April at the homeshow) Erin, thanks for looking after the Tupperware - I should pick it up soon. Just that last week was the first time I'd been out to the block for a month. Had the building blues but this week they have gone Wasn't even on H1 for a few weeks - our computer died & we didn't have internet access. DP most upset that we had to buy a new Mac (not!) Only snag is we lost 2 months worth of data as the last backup we did was in October. I'll try and see if I can post a photo of the lights, if I can find them on their website... Re: NBG Manhattan - March handover 845Jan 30, 2011 8:38 pm I dont mind holding the Tupperware until you've moved (save you moving it with everything else you have to move). It's safely tucked away on the top shelf in our pantry. Flooring sounds great Yeah, the carpet was a long wait... we had concrete in our bedroom for 6 months! It's so lush... only our bedroom though... we haven't done the other bedrooms hehe Boo to computer problems. I had no internet for 10 days as Vodaphone decided without telling us that we'd no long have reception here. One day it just stopped working. Not impressed...! Starting to look like a real home now. I know what you mean about the "building blues" (!!) ~ also had to disappear for a while + just forget all about it! Anyhow, not long to go now....hope it goes super quick!! Went out to the house yesterday and little has been done in a week. The only changes we could see were the ceiling inside the entrance had been done and concrete had been poured for the base of both showers. That's it. The architraves were delivered the week before and are waiting to be put up. I hope we see more progress this week, if not I doubt we will be moving in March |
