Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 23, 2009 8:09 am Hi My builder has used chalk to fill gap between tile floor and brick wall as he has cut tiles into different sizes and the gap between tiles and brick is very large. I lodged a complain at Building Commission and they requested the Builder to replace tiles and to make same width of grout through out the floor. The chalk line is very thick and visible; width is 1.5cm covering tiles and 1.5 cm covering bricks ("L" shape line). Is this a normal practice in house construction? What should I do now?
