Various shades of brown It should match really well though - hope you do get back out there tomorrow Re: Piper's House - PCI done, everything's pretty much perfe 184Sep 16, 2010 2:02 pm A quick post in case anyone is still reading this.. just had my pre-handover inspection and everything is pretty much perfect!!! A few paint touch ups, a couple of things to be tweaked and that's it. My SS told me that it's very likely I'll have the keys by the end of next week. Not only was there nothing bad from my PCI, but I even had a couple of unexpected bonuses.... * my laundry splashback was only supposed to be tiled above the sink, but they ended up tiling all the way along the wall between the bench and the overhead cupboards. * Privacy locks (which really cost a builder nothing, but which some builders love adding as upgrades to your doors) were added to the bathrooms, toilets and even the master bedroom because "it seemed like common sense to put them there"... * Extra heating ducts were added to the bathroom and ensuite just because they had some extra points available... I love my builder... I love all of my colours... I love my floor plan.... I love my house! Life is good! It feels surreal to able to walk around the place and not worry about getting in trouble Can't wait to see some pics, though handover pics always take ages to put up on here because no one ever has the internet on straight away Re: Piper's House - Handover done!! Now the real work begins 191Dec 16, 2010 10:25 pm Hello Piper+1 Your house looks fabluous!!! Congratulations. We are also contemplating building with Qauntum Homes. You have been in your house for over a year now. Are you happy with the workmanship? Have the after sales support been good when you wanted things fixed - big or small? 1) I had requested R6 ceiling insualtion batts, however I noticed that on some areas there are huge gaps which will allow hot air to sweep in, and also noticed black/grey… 0 3597 I posted the floorplan on Houzz.com forum and got some really good ideas and advice from people there. Then we reached out to a couple of renovation companies and one… 5 10093 9 24789 |
