Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 20, 2009 8:22 pm Hi everyone, Being the organised people that we are we went to Beaumont Tiles and made all of our tile selections before making our other colour selections at Studio M. We chose some amazing floor tiles and built up everything around them. Now...they have been discontinued!!! And anything similar will add too much extra $$$ to our contract price. We have signed our final contract...but I am wondering if it is too late to change lamenex selections etc to go with a completely NEW set of tiles...??? AHGGGG!!! Talk to your builder they should be reasonable. I had to change my bricks as they werent available and my builder without a variation charge allowed me to change the mortar colour. Re: Studio M Selections - How late is too late to change? 3Sep 21, 2009 12:57 pm Hi Aimeh I'm building with M, I suggest you talk to your customer service coordinator, I found mine to be very helpful when I had to reselect my bricks. It was aslo an opportunity for me to change the (hideous) paint colour I chose on the front facade cladding. They didn't charge me extra for this either so I was happy:-) I would suggest you simply go and talk to council about your proposal, most councils are getting onboard with ancillary dwellings.
