Ok so I am familiar with getting the utilities and phone/internet connections done and I believe with my builder I just need to organise the gas and electricity to be swapped into my name and let Yarra Valley Water know that I am living there to send the bills there but....
What do I do about organising bins and my mail to get delivered? I spose I need to ring my council for the bins - any idea how long they take to be delivered? (City of Whittlesea) and what about mail? The existing people that have been living in the street for at least 6 months get their mail (I assume) but do I need to let Aus Post know that I am now living in a new part of an estate?
