Oh gosh... Maybe our DP's should be left alone together while we go and do girlie/house-y stuff?

Most of our lights through the house are from ikea and cost $4.99 each and honestly they look just as good as similar ones that the light shop was selling for $30 each . The carpet was going down while we were there, all of the underlay had been done, the lounge had carpet in it and the main bedroom was nearly finished. All of our taps and spouts are in, the shower heads are in, appliances are in.... the list goes on I went for a little walk around the shower bases to check for scratchy tiles but they're all nice and smooth which is good - I don't want them to have to pull the tiles up to fix them. I was going to take some pics today but I think I'm going to wait until there's no tradies in the way before I get some pics up for you all. Lucky for us we've got until Wednesday next week to be out of the rental so will have access to the net for nearly a week after we move which means there won't be too long until you see the final product! Can't wait 24 hours to go woohoo Re: dilla's place - handover tomorrow eeeeek!! 848Sep 09, 2010 1:31 pm Im SO excited for you DILLA!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sick of packing. We're moving tomorrow and the house is only half packed But we've loaded up both of our cars so when we have handover we can drop off two loads full, then DP can come back, pack a few more boxes and bags and take another load or two while I go back to work for the afternoon . His afternoon job is to start putting together some ikea shelves and cabinets - someone's got to be at the house from 2pm onwards for the furniture deliveries. I'm planning on getting home (hehehe, home) and putting up the redi-blinds that we got at Bunnings the other day Re: dilla's place - handover tomorrow eeeeek!! 859Sep 09, 2010 10:15 pm dilla I'm planning on getting home (hehehe, home) LOL!!
