Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 15, 2009 11:01 pm Yep another one of those threads, building with plantation in QLD. So far this is what we have picked for the exterior. Roof - Dune Gutters - Jasper Fascia - Dune Eaves - Jarrah Door and window frames - Timber External Walls render 1 - Jarrah External Walls render 2 - Warm Neutral Cladding on the front pillars This is how it looks like on the Studio M website. http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/3319/picture1ih.jpg Can anyone with similar color combo's please put up a picture of the front of the house if you have any. This is the house we are building in a different color scheme. http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/4369/housety.jpg Also i am having a few doubts about the interior. The wifey wants a midnight black kitchen bench. We have picked wooden floors and i am at a loss as to what to pick for the laminex colors. Normally i would go with lighter colors but then i am worried as to how the contrast with the floor would look like. Can you guys please provide suggestions for what colors to use with a Black Ceaserstone kitchen benchtop with timber floors? Re: Help with color combination 4Sep 16, 2009 9:22 am We are going with a black bench and white laminates but with tiles instead of floorboards. That said I have seen hosues with the white on the floorboards look very good. See this thread for our kitchen colours. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=23028 Re: Help with color combination 6Sep 16, 2009 3:18 pm Beautiful colour choices for the exterior. I think the kitchen would have more "punch" if the timber was carried through. It also looks like the tiles near the kick rail closest to the wall stops at the cupboards. Re: Help with color combination 14Oct 24, 2009 7:14 am My current house i have black (not caesarstone) benchtops, offwhite cupboards and dark polished timber floors.
