- Coral's bathroom packages:

- Swapping a window for a set of louvers?
- Increasing the glass thickness of a window (or installing double glazing)?
- Installing sound insulation in the walls and ceiling?
- How much did have to pay for the initial tender? I read on one of coral's documents that the initial deposit is 5% of the overall price.. that isn't to get the first proper quote is it? Seems like quite a lot it'd prevent you shopping around.
Also has anyone needed coral to clear some trees on their block? If so how much did it cost you?
Thanks All! I've been keeping an eye on all you Coral builders out there and have been watching your progress with great interest. This thread in particular has proven most valuable in terms of upgrade costs:

Current Status: Clearing Trees
History

Desired Plan Changes:
- - Make all doors sliders except for Bedroom 1. (The door for bedroom two will be moved to the left straight wall to make it more usable and to link it to bedroom three to better create a "kids area" like the hamiltons extra bedrooms).
- Make the living room window a sliding door.
-Add some more fixed storage space. (I don't know where at the moment.. perhaps I extend the left wall of the garage and create a wall of cupboard space there)
Must Have Upgrades:
- - Coral's classic and deluxe upgrades
- Sound insulation
- 25" roof pitch
- Sarking
- Alfresco from the bottom of the family sliding door to the left of the living window (which will be a sliding door also)
- Lots and lots and lots of electrical & extra wiring. (Telephone, electrical, tv) Not sure about networking I'm thinking of getting them to just put some holes in each of the corners and seal it nicely. That ways I can wire whatever I want whenever I want for free.
- Water tank (compulsory extra )
- Solar hot water
- Ducted air conditioning (expensive I know but I think it'll actually be cheaper for me in the long run as I got a habit of installing individual units for virtually every room in the house) It'll be better for the environment too I imagine!
- Treated frame
Desired Upgrades:
- - Woodgrain garage door
- Colorbond roof (should actually be cheaper or similarly priced as tiles.. especially since you require less structural support )
- A galley kitchen (possibly with ceasarstone benchtops)
- A coral bathroom upgrade (Package 1 will do)
- Tiles/Wood (instead of vinyl/laminate)
