Don't worry, theres an up-side to getting the floors in first - not having to touch up the paint after the flooring guys leave. There's quite a few scratches in my lovely new paintwork now, but we were told when booking the flooring to expect that Also you won't have as much dust floating around while painting. Looking great I'll admit that was a complete fluke. Flooring was something we picked reasonably late in the process, and I didn't even think about how it would go with the kitchen cabinets at the time. I am so relieved that it has all worked out. Hopefully the bank will be nice and lend us some extra $$$. And we are still trying to decide what window furnishings to get, its doing my head in .
