Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 02, 2009 3:25 pm Me and my hubby went and had a look at our block on the weekend and I just realized that there is a septic tank thats going to be in the middle of our driveway, I contacted Scott park and I just got email back confirming that yes its definitly going to be in our driveway and to just paint the LID. Im so F'n annoyed. You might end up with your car in your septic tank ewwwww nearly all septic tank instalers will tell you this. Maybe the extra concrete in your drive makes it OK??? I think it can have 500 kg if you didn't, but that is it. If you really don't want it I would tell the builder and not just ask. It is your land and your money and you don't want the tank there. Even when it has gone through Council and everything you can change things if you insist. Be firm.
