Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 31, 2009 1:46 pm Hey all, Bit of frustration I thought I would share with all you. Currently building in ‘2A the hub’ of Tarneit gardens estate, great place, everything going fine no problem with the builder (IQ l!ving) etc.. On the weekend I went to see my land & my building consultant and she gave me some bad news on why site start is taking so long.. Apparently the clowns next door: R3flections estate have started to clear the land and move rubbish, rocks etc around.. My property backs on to that estate… and in their clearing they moved my boundary pegs!! Ahh! Apparently it has happened to a few blocks on Joesbury rd also not just mine. Because the pegs have been moved a survey & re mapping my block needs to be done before they can commence construction! Which means…further delay & now it wont be done before Christmas.. which also means it will go into the new year with the builders holiday in January!! Slightly angry at this, going to find out from my lawyer friends if anyone is liable. No big deal but just really frustrating especially as I was expecting a pre Christmas move in & now have to wait till feb/march sometime with January being not worked on at all!! Waste of money in rent & mortgage.. Thoughts/ comments/ feedback? Re: Tarneit Gardens/ R3flections boundary peg moved!!? 2Aug 31, 2009 1:51 pm Unfortunately I think it happens alot and some people have to pay for the site to be surveyed again. Hope you don't have to pay for it and the r3flections have to!!
