Some of my fav authors are: Mary Janet Davidson Katie McAlister Janet Evanovich Dan Brown Charlaine Harris (although a tad over her at the moment) Kerrylin Sparks And then there's lots of one hit wonders that i love too. I'm more into chic lit, paranormal, bit of sci fi, and am quite the fan of Terry Pratchett! I dont really like to read things that make me upset (as i'm not the happiest person in real life anyway, and little things can upset me, so i like me books to be enjoyable) viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Re: Jodes House - Aussie Living (WA) *P* is for Progress!! 2202Feb 11, 2010 1:56 pm I am newly-introduced to Pratchett - I've read the Discworld series in order up to my current book - The Last Continent (Australiana one ). I wasn't much of a fan of the first two Discworld books but from then on I've been HOOKED. I can't put his books down, and now that his characters are established sometimes I find myself laughing out loud in public places when Pratchett uses recurring jokes involving their personalities. I love your range hood. I couldn't talk hubby into having one and was so disappointed. we had a built in cupboard type one in our very first house and it was quite low and hubby hated it. A bit of a shame i couldn;t talk him round this time as the ordinary exhaust fan is in a different position I think to where a range hood would be so even if I could upgrade later it would mean mucking about with ceiling panels. So I'm very envious of yours. It's one of those ones with the pretty glass bits isn't it? Rather trippy... but not something i'd voluntarily choose). Yep It has the glass panels on it. I've realised that i'm going to have to clean it regularly as the crap from the stove/rangehood will show up on it!! Once i'm able to get back inside i'll take a better photo of it AND!!! I was standing at the kitchen window admiring it, and realised that if i angled myself correctly, i could see all the way into the corner of the main bathroom!! And i could see that the mirror in there had been installed as well and also the shower glass thingo So was very pleased to see that there tc2000 So jodie, did you get any action going on at your house or was it like mine - nothing...? *sigh* Not much was done TC!!
