Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 29, 2009 6:36 pm Our render was applied 2 days ago and I think i'm still getting used to the color compared with the much lighter undercoat color that was on it before. The color is called Rameau-is a grey/plum color which I think I was expecting to look more grey and not quite as much plum. I think I like it, and think it may look more harmonious when the garden is landscaped with rendered planter boxes/plants in similar color and when the dune colored garage door goes on. What do you think? Or should I look at painting over it in another color? But, thats my opinion, you have to live in it so do what makes you happy. Building a H3nl3y Charleton- its a home, not a house. Re: Our Tribeca 40:do you think our render color looks okay? 3Aug 29, 2009 7:29 pm I like it too....and it's easy enough to change if you still hate it once your landscaping is done. Re: Our Tribeca 40:do you think our render color looks okay? 4Aug 29, 2009 8:40 pm I like it. It goes well with the roof, it doesn't look too plum at all. I suppose it would look different in a different light, but it looks good in this pic. Re: Our Tribeca 40:do you think our render color looks okay? 6Aug 29, 2009 9:11 pm Love it! When you have an established garden to add interest you will never have an issue with it. I can definately see the grey as well as the plum in it. I wouldn't change it. braveheart Suggestions please for acrylic rendering Color to match austral brick urban one pepper. Pic for reference. Thanks 0 3793 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 3810 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 3664 |
