Moving in 2012! Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 2276Oct 15, 2011 7:51 pm Hi Guys, Just wondering if you guys can help at all?? We have a pre approval with Rams Home loans and have had this for about 6 weeks now this only stands for 3 months (i dont want to have to re apply!!) we have only just signed with masterton and the lender is asking for the tender and plans. Now as i understand they need the tender with the final fixed price now i cant do this until ive had all of my appts etc can i? So any ideas what to do? Thanks Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 2277Oct 17, 2011 7:30 pm Don's tiles for main living areas came to about $155 per sqm for us, we chose 600x600 porcelain tiles. We have asked other tradies, who will charge about $40 - $50 labor and the tiles from Don's is about $50. Similar tiles from other warehouses has come to about $25. So if you do everything separately, less than half price (inc screed etc). Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 2278Oct 17, 2011 7:35 pm Just another heads up for people, things like glass splashback in kitchens. Masterton will charge about 3k for starfire glass... Doing this after handover will cost you $400 in materials and a bit glue. Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 2279Oct 18, 2011 11:38 am Nice tip paul.
