These timber trusses can generally withstand high amount of exposure to water. Like Bexi suggested, you are better off talking to the SS. Even better would be to mop it off if not too much trouble. You may have needed it for Basix. Be happy if you didn't pay for it - we paid $2.5K to have it on our house. Don't really have any photos that are easy to access. It has good thermal insulation properties - you can do a search on it. So does that mean they fixed all the problems to your satisfaction? I remember the kickboards were a big issue for you, in getting them to tack them on, then they made a mistake when the kitchen was installed. Did everything turn out OK for you? I completely understand about the sleeping baby... I've got so much to do and whether it happens or not all depends on the sleeping baby Looking forward to seeing your thread! Kickboards got removed prior to floor installation. Floor was being sanded and finished last Thursday - Saturday (3 coats required). Architraves and kickboards to be installed today/tomorrow. Appliances & carpet booked for Friday. Removalist Saturday we're praying it doesn't rain! There will still be some minor things that need fixing but nothing that will prevent us from moving in. The floor was the main issue of concern. The bathroom accessories have been removed and the tiles replaced - the grout isn't very neat and we'll get them to fix that after handover as well as some other minor issues. T - I tried to get some closeups of the PGH Cement for you so will try to post those soon. There is a section at the front, which is part of the portico where the brickwork is just crap. The mortar colour looks visibly different. But worse than that, there are at least two rows where the bricks are so close together that there is no visible mortar at all between them! So unhappy. It's on a really prominent part at the front of the house so it's very obvious. Can someone point me in the direction of the building tolerances for brickwork in NSW? I had my PCI 2 weeks ago and just attended the final work through yesterday. I have got my final cheque waiting for settlement and just wanna hurry and get the keys. Should i wait for someone to call me or keep harrassing them. I have had to book my holidays in advanced and they start next week so i dont wanna waste time especially when everything is done. I am sick of having delays and rude office people who have never returned my emails or voicemails. i just wanna finish my journey and hope never have to deal with them again. i have been looking at people's timeframe to when they got the keys from when they had PCI date and it is about 10-16 days, so does that mean from the first or second walk theough inspection Building The Chelsea Elite (Masterton) @ Spring Farm Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 1260Jun 08, 2010 1:51 pm springfarmer, sorry I can't answer your question.
