CONGRATS on handover Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - WE HAVE KEYS!! 345Apr 17, 2010 2:14 pm Congrats Jessica !! Wow looks amazing !! I'm also building with Red Ink, and we have the same kitchen !! Same layout! I have a quick question - the colour render we chose i'm losing sleep over! The original colour we chose was no longer available so the designer we met with before pre-start suggested Solver - Kanga... Which i'm scared is going to come out an army green colour Were Red Ink happy to redo the render colour for you or did you have to outlay more money to fix it? If so how much ?? Once again Congratulations on your beautiful home !! Once again Congratulations on your beautiful home !! Hey Megan! Thank you so much Nice to see another Red Ink person on here! I love our Kitchen so I am sure you will love yours too! I know what you mean about the render. I was stressing about ours for a long time - with good reason in the end I think I have seen the Kanga before and it looked nice! Somebody mentioned to me that you can get little paint samples and put it on bricks etc to see what it is like. Unfortunately, seeing as it was the colour we chose (and not a mistake on their behalf) I didnt feel right asking Red Ink to redo the render for us! We are getting it redone seperately. I really dont mind spending the money (about $200 for recoat) as I cant stand looking at it haha! I bet Red Ink would have obliged if I had asked them though. The way we chose the new colour was finding it on a show home we loved. I went and asked them what colour it was so I know it will look nice hehe! Best of luck with everything. Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - WE HAVE KEYS!! 349Apr 23, 2010 8:48 am Thanks so much for all the lovely congratulations people! Have just had one of the most tiring weeks ever with all this painting. Been doing it to all hours of the night then working the next day! Good thing we have one colour throughout the whole house so it made it heaps easier. I think next build one day I will fork out the extra money to get it professionaly done! Although it was a bit of fun and a good experience I will post pictures of the overall look after its all done! Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - WE HAVE KEYS!! 350Apr 23, 2010 8:50 am Hahaha our thoughts exactly Glad to hear it's going well! I would love to see another house with the Kanga, then my mind would be put at ease ! But i suppose there's not much i can do about it now.. Will wait and see how it turns out $200 sounds fantastic ! Here i am thinking a ridiculous amount... can sleep easy now Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - WE HAVE KEYS!! 352Apr 25, 2010 6:58 pm Beautiful Jessica. I like how your ceiling features are angled.
