Re: Montego 344 Two Storey Coral Home- PLUMBING & LIGHTS DONE 290Dec 09, 2009 9:56 pm It's been busy onsite for the past few day. The electrician has all but finished, the plumber as far as I can see has finished. The tiles start tomorrow, they will be doing the splashback first then the main floor tiles on Friday. The full story on my blog http://twostoreycoralhome.blogspot.com/. I did talk to Joe about a PCI, it's not all good news, check out my blog to find out what happened http://twostoreycoralhome.blogspot.com/. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ . Perhaps you can askfor Coral to issue the invoice now? (post-date it for next week so that your bank can get their paperwork and valuation done in the meantime?)...just a thought only. I, as well as, and a whole bunch of other H1-ers definitely want to see the both of you get handover before Xmas!!!! This would definitely be the icing on the cake for you $45 for a recessed powerpoint is not bad at all! Our builder already charges $50 for a double powerpoint. I thought it was expensive but my dad said it was priced fairly!!!!! What a neat solution to have a recessed powerpoint for the fridge area. Never thought of that myself for the whole house!!!!!! I just sort of accepted that powerpoints are the way it is and just had to put up with the plug sticking out! Hmmm....maybe I should ask my electrician to put in some recessed powerpoints for the TV areas!!!! You've definitely given me an idea for our fridge space, hopefully it's not too late. Coral is doing our last invoice this week, that way we can get the handover cheque organised before next Friday. They're doing it for us so I can't see why they won't do it for you. Re: Montego 344 Two Storey Coral Home- PLUMBING & LIGHTS DONE 294Dec 10, 2009 11:44 am I reckon you guys who are having your houses built with C0ral have been extremely lucky during the whole process. Despite delays (either at the beginning or somewhere in between), it would seem that the tradies C0ral engages are truly top notch tradies who work their butts off to get your projects back to speed and are proud of their craftsmanship!!!!!! A single storey house built in under 4 mths and a double storey house built under 6 mths is unheard of in VIC! And the building method's the same, i.e. slab, woodframes, bricks etc. I reckon tradies are just plainly more hardworking in QLD/NSW!!!! Congrats to you Poss (and Becks and Jess too)! I had to trawl through your earlier posts from ions ago to see what the colour was!!!! If I continue not to like my render colour, I may just steal your colour and have my exterior repainted Beige Royal! (BTW, was yours full strength or weakened?) I've also noticed in some of your past pics that the houses surrounding yours and your house included are all of a similar colour (exterior wise). Was it part of your estate covenant? Or did it just happen this way? Imagine this, asking you a beginner's question (sounding like a newbie!) when you're practically over your last hurdle!!!!
