It’s been so busy with the house, the up coming wedding & Christmas that I haven't had time to do anything. So what has happened since my last update? Well, the weekend after handover was our bucks & hens night so instead of spending it at the house we were off partying up at surfers paradise. The following week we were busy trying to organise electricity, gas, phone, internet, bins & letterbox. Our fridge, washer & dryer arrived on Wednesday ready for the move. Because the electricity & gas were hooked up on Thursday we thought that we would move in on Boxing Day. I borrowed the truck from work, organised my fiancés parents, my parents & my fiancés sister to help us move all our stuff. When it came to moving the piano (I don't know if you guys know how heavy a piano is) we organised my bestman & my fiancés fathers friend who used to move pianos for a living to come over and help us to move the piano, this is something I never want to do ever again. On Saturday after we unloaded everything we started to set up the important stuff like the beds, my dad started to build our chairs from IKEA, while my fiancés sister started to build the table, it looks lovely. We unpacked what seemed like an endless amount of boxes, but yet there still seems like an endless amount left. The move took us two days due to the fact that we really hadn't started to pack until Christmas day afternoon. Everything went pretty smooth with the move, so far everything is working well. On Sunday my parents came over, we went down to bunnings to buy a clothesline so he could install it for us. On Sunday night it stated raining and it hasn't stopped since, I'm so glad we got the dryer. There is so much more still left to do, we have boxes everywhere. I've never been so tired in my life, I don't ever want to move again. I hope to have pictures for you all after we get the internet hooked up, we get the phone line installed on Saturday the 2nd Jan then we have to organise the internet after that. As our wedding is on the 9th Jan I'm not sure I'll have a chance in the next two weeks to update my blog with all the new house pics, I'll do my best. I hope everyone here had a great Christmas and I hope you all have a wonderful new year. . I hope you had a beautiful day with your lovely missus Thank you so much TC, we have a wonderful day. I don't think things could have gone any better than they did, the day was perfect the weather was even better. We also had a lovely relaxing honeymoon in Vanuatu, but know we are back to all the hard and tiring housework again. We are in the middle of organising our driveway and blinds, its all been fun trying to organise these things, first without a phone or internet (we finally got the phone on two weeks ago & the internet was connected yesterday, but I only got the modem today) & while trying to do the finally prep for our wedding, then being away on the honeymoon. We have one more week before the both of us are back at work, we are going to be so busy. Once things start to get back to normal I hope to upload many pics of our lovely new home. .
