Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 14, 2009 11:09 am hi, I just read the water bill for the building house. A NEW item " Annual Parks CHarge" is applied, mine is about $60. I don't find that item yet in July's bill in the present house. Is those living in established area also have that item? Or it's only for those in the new subdivision?? Though it is an annual cost only, which equals to $15 a quarter , but at the same time " Waterways and drainage charge" is in the bill too, which is about $15 a quarter too. In other words, the annual parks charge+ waterways charge+ service charge already means$50 a quarter even if u "don't consume any water". Re: Yarra Valley Water--Annual parks charge 2Aug 14, 2009 12:16 pm Everyone pays the parks charge. New and old, apartment and house. No one escapes the once a year fee. I opened my water bill the other day to see it was $118 I nearly fell over! My water bills in this rental are normally about $25-$30!!! Once I recovered I tried to find out why it was so high.... it's the water bill for my house and not where I'm currently living! All these fees and charges for water are something new to me 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' If not they would be forced to issue you a variation which you could of course object to. 12 25866 thanks guys! yes this is how I've exactly raised it with the builder. still awaiting response. 12 6044 18 90480 |
