Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 12, 2009 3:05 pm There doesn't seem to be a lot of posts for the Eynesbury estate on here. Are there many people building in the area? We are building an Uber from Urban Edge, well we will be once all the contracts are signed and finance has come thorugh. We have been watching the progress of another Uber going up a couple of streets away from us and its looking good. Just wanted to be able to chat about some of the things that have come up...... such as the gadening policy for the area and the extra parks & garden payments for the estate. So who else out there is building at Eynesbury, what are you building and how are things going? Re: New Homes in Eynesbury...... West Melbourne 2Aug 13, 2009 8:22 pm Uber Urban, We are building with UE in Eynesbury. Re: New Homes in Eynesbury...... West Melbourne 3Aug 14, 2009 12:23 pm How are finding the build process? with UE as well as any difficulties with the Eynesbury restrictions? Re: New Homes in Eynesbury...... West Melbourne 4Aug 17, 2009 5:20 pm Hi Guys, We are building with Zuccala at Eynesbury. We purchased a H&L package for one of the small cottage lots (FHB). It did take a looong time to get permits approvals etc, had to get a dispensation permit I beleive. Not sure if it was the builder or developer that held us back for so long, but things are finally moving along; we have a frame now! We will also have to do our garden once we are in, I'm not sure of the process really... Can't wait to move in though Good luck with UE, they seem to build quickly up there and the facades are great. Re: New Homes in Eynesbury...... West Melbourne 5Sep 14, 2009 1:15 pm From what I can gather you have to have a particular type of fence and the plants in your front garden have to be at least 50% native to the area. We haven't even started the build yet and we met our new neighbour already on the weekend. I was checking out his garden and it looks fabulous. He has a creek running through the front garden with rocks and mainly what look like grasses. I hate to think what ours is going to look like in comparison. Re: New Homes in Eynesbury...... West Melbourne 6Dec 01, 2009 8:52 am It been a while since I have looked at this thread. We now have a slab and most of the frame completed. Things are going up so fast, I almost want to tell them to slow down. I'm just not ready:) Hi there! Putting the feelers out there for those who have (or almost) built with Arli homes!
