Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Offer Land to Builder 2Aug 12, 2009 11:25 am Ask them, but I doubt they would. The display areas usually have multiple houses next to each other and are grouped in the areas of estates allocated for displays. They need adequate parking and are in the most visible locations. The displays would be professionally designed to provide the best combination of upgrades and colours to suck buyers in. The combinations of houses they build in an area would also be planned. The builders seem to build display houses and then sell them on a rent back scheme. If your house ticks all the boxes maybe this could be an avenue. Re: Offer Land to Builder 3Aug 12, 2009 11:53 am sloping Hi Guys, Would builders eg Simonds etc be intrested if you offered your land and house to them after they finished building the house for you so they can use it as a display? The builder can build their houses at cost. They'd have to buy your house at cost (offsetting the profit), plus the margin that they charged you, plus/minus any market fluctuations since the build finished. They wouldn't get any benefit out of buying a house in suburbia by itself. They are saying there is no such thing it’s not in your tender unfortunately I’d do not… 0 180 Sounds like rubbish to me. Ask for the contamination report which I doubt they have. If it's part of a normal subdivision it would have had a contamination report done… 9 5645 |
