Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 08, 2009 12:37 pm Ok this might seem like a stupid question but i paid for capped water to the fridge space, when the framing of the house was done i saw that they had put it in, but since then the walls have been put up and painted, all power points etc installed and i see no water connection.. Is this normal????? Re: capped water to fridge space. 3Aug 08, 2009 1:12 pm I know that is my point, all the other plumbing in the house were poking out from the wall right away, but this isnt, and its been painted, grrr I meantioned it when i saw the walls being painted, the reply was, don't worry they know what they are doing, Hmmm well the house is almost finished few weeks to go, and no water connection YET! Re: capped water to fridge space. 4Aug 08, 2009 1:20 pm That's not normal. During frame stage, the plumber should have come in and ran it through the frame and then had a nozzle (looks just like a tap connection) out before the plaster was put in. They then put a proper tap connection on it so you can turn it on/off. Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2860 I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 7515 You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want.
