Hi all,
I have been waiting for over 7 weeks now for tender and I still don't know when it is going to be. Is this normal in the current environment? How long did you wait for tender?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Waiting for tender, how long??? 2Aug 08, 2009 10:09 am Hi Polo, It all depends on your builder I suppose. Were you given an idea of how long it would be by the Sales Consultant? We're building with Coral and were told they usually take two weeks but it ended up taking three weeks. But we were informed a week prior to getting it that it was due in a week. Not bad service really, if I had to wait seven weeks like you I'd be going crazy. Can you phone or email your SC and ask how much longer it will be? Communication is your friend Good luck Re: Waiting for tender, how long??? 3Aug 08, 2009 10:25 am Hi Walker79, Wow 3 weeks for tender, I wish we were as lucky as you. Yes they did advise that it could take up to 7 weeks but now that it is over that time period I just want to know if other people who is building with other builders experience this at the moment. I am just getting a bit impatient now as I thought 7 weeks would be enough time to prepare/finalise tender documents. Re: Waiting for tender, how long??? 4Aug 08, 2009 12:08 pm Good things come to those who wait. Thats what I think. We are going to build with Formula Homes here in VIC and they said 3 to 4 weeks for tender. Well 4 weeks passed Tuesday gone. No big deal im sure. Ill give them another couple before I start calling. If I were you I would give them a couple more weeks. Then see how its going. But I do understand the headache of just wanting to get the finance etc out of the way. Good luck NO EXPECTATIONS, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!
