Also, I know someone who less than 1 month ago upgraded there splash back to the full length mirror. (PD Access). Maybe tell them to delete the mirrors and splash backs entirely and source your own mirror? ---------------------------------------- Building the PD Lisbon 24 http://www.porterdavis.com.au/#homeviewer/lisbon/24 Blog of our progress. http://lisbon24.blogspot.com/ Homeone build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=28665 Re: building first home PD Lisbon 22 Marriott Waters 22Aug 14, 2009 11:07 am Just my opinion, I would keep the tiled splashbacks. I have had a house with mirror to the vanity and it was forever getting splashed with toothpaste, soap etc. Drove me mad! and even worse if you have kids (or are planning to). We are building with PD Prestige which came without the splashbacks and I have added them as I never want to be without them again. If you get some nice tiles with a feature it will still look very good. Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. We were told it wasn't available anymore either, we are building access. But I agree with hels.. i think tiles is a better idea anyway! So i'm glad they wouldn't let me have the full length mirror. Re: building first home PD Lisbon 22 Marriott Waters 29Aug 18, 2009 9:10 pm Hels, we prefer to have it tiled as well for the same reason you have. but after we went to national tiles to see their range, those nice tiles cost $65/piece yes a piece 300mmx300mm and it works out to be around $600 just for that little section. so we think glass won't be too bad. but then they don't have that option anymore eventhou the sales did told us they can provide that. TimmyDunlop, we did ask that option to remove it completely, but they said they need to get certificate of occupancy so they can't exclude that and we can't source it ourselves either. I think that's just the way they do thing. Re: building first home PD Lisbon 22 Marriott Waters 30Apr 08, 2010 10:21 am Hi Erin, How is your build going? I'm building the Lisbon 22 as well!!
