So congratulations monkeyupatree? I hope it was not a total surprise like it was for us!
We also chose red brick as all the new homes in the street used cream and the double height brick. Just wanted something different. There is still a vacant block directly opposite so hopefully they don't select the same brick - otherwise I will be annoyed!

Normally everyones slab looks really small in photos but yours still looks big!

Looks big but we had to squeeze in 5 bedrooms. Would have loved bigger bedrooms for the kids. Living is 288sqm, total 335sqm.
After all the progress last week, nothing happening this week is killing me. But I guess it is good to have a properly cured slab!

For sure, I saw that thread with cracks in the slab!
they didn't start laying bricks on my slab for a month! and is probably half the size of yours!

Thanks Annie - really excited especially as things seem to be ticking over.
The soakwells were installed today and the first site clean! They even installed a chicken mesh bin to keep the site clean.
I am probably boring everyone with these photos but I am EXCITED!!!!!!

I can't believe how big your slab is........I think all slabs are bigger than ours though
Well done on a great plan and its good to see everything is going to plan. I love the idea of your library to giant armchairs floating in the middle of the room and a beautiful pluch rug......Loving that thought. Sorry to impose my little daydream.

gweluphome - yours is a two storey design? We could only afford one storey so had to make it bigger otherwise I would go insane with all the kids.

Fair enough and yes ours is a 2 storey, its funny though as we have always built single storeys thats why it looks so very small........ Love the toilet by the way
