Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 04, 2009 10:28 am Hi guys, good to see all the carlislers here. I bought a block in ALAMANDA, stage 12a. hopefully it will be titled on Nov 09. I chose C becoz of the amazing t-range inclusion as I have a tight budget, I can only choose from Rothwell 23(4brd) and Bradford 21(3brd). I finally chose Bradford as the floor plan of rothwell looks not very good. It sounds not quite wisdom to build up a 3brd house in such a big block, therefore, I wanna change the alfresco to a room, say Study, dont know if C will do that or not, I know PD does. Could anyone give a bit suggestions? Sorry I dont know how to post the image, just uploaded.CH3.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: CARLISLE HOME, ALAMANDA , Bradford 21 3Aug 04, 2009 5:35 pm I dont know if Carlisle actually convert alfrescos to indoor rooms, by the way Ive heard they are stricter with structural changing these days.. BUT, ask about it, doesnt hurt to ask does it?? Have you been to the Bradford display?? I personally prefer the Rothwell, because I really like the meals/living areas next to each other - it looks like one big long room. And I much prefer the bedrooms in their own wing, the Bradford has the minor bedrooms off the entry... Im not a fan of this.. I built the Atlantique 37, Carlisle were fantastic.. you will have a great build! Im also unsure if the alfresco would be useful.. it doesnt look workable as a study... Dont know what it could be, because the kitchen is right next to it.. perhaps a rumpus, and have a wall cutout on the kitchen/rumpus wall to help it flow???? (1 week) Re: CARLISLE HOME, ALAMANDA , Bradford 21 6Aug 05, 2009 8:18 pm Nice to see another Carlisle builder in Alamanda again! lol It is amazing so many Carlisle's in Alamanda, guess it goes to show that if you are one of the first displays in the estate completed (in a popular estate) your houses will sell! Re: CARLISLE HOME, ALAMANDA , Bradford 21 7Aug 05, 2009 11:08 pm This is true... We chose ours before we had even seen the Alamanda display though! I think they are really up and coming all over the place... good inclusions, good quality (it seems) and good value for money.. I just hope all our builds go well seeing there will be so many of us building at the same time in the same place... Should be ok I think the site supervisor will probably just live in Alamanda lol hi , does carlisle have pretty facade ? what style of facade you choose ? Carlisle have a nice variety of facades. Affinity Collection have more extravagant and usually more expensive facades. T Range (which sparkling is having.. Bradford design) are more simplistic and are no charge.. as displayed and inc in the base price. Built the Atlantique 37 Mk2 with Carlisle Homes - WE'RE IN!!
