Why would one prefer Carlingford over Mosaic. I think it is personal preference.
We think Mosaic is closer to city by couple of meters or a kilometre. March 2009, when we bought our land, Mosaic was cheaper.
Nevertheless, we find Carlingford Staff more professional to deal with. Their rule, which dictates design guidelines assist in building contemporary homes, which will have a feel good factor when all the estate is fully finished. For eg: uniformity in fencing. Uniformity in letterboxes.https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B1eN4D ... ist&num=50
[Plus the street light colours – Just kidding]
$3000 is incentive to make your house look contemporary. End up costing you more. And you are not allowed to have fence from Garage to footpath. [Mosaic allows for that]
XPire – Design Review Panel visits are made every three weeks last visit was 23 Feb. You can time your landscaping If you do before 16 March you will get your money pretty much straightaway. Provided you have followed the guidelines
