Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 30, 2009 9:11 am Hi, Just wondering if anyone has the front elevation pictures for the PD Stanford with a Barwon Facade? I'm wanting to play around with some colours and thought it would be easier with a simple 2D outline picture rather than the 3D image from their website. Thanks Emma Re: PD Stanford with Barwon Facade pics wanted 2Jul 30, 2009 10:35 am Also, I've noticed some ppl using the boal bushwood bricks but does anyone have pictures of them with black windows/gutters and a jasper garage door? or some combination of this? This is what are thinking for our colours (appointment is in 2 weeks ) Bricks: Boral Brushwood (maybe brown terrain or mocha) Roof: Barramundi Gutters/Downpipes: Black (maybe jasper) Windows: Black (maybe jasper) Garage: Jasper Front Door: Jasper 2 Front Pillars: Dune or Paperbark What you think? We are stressing out about all our choices lol Here is a pic from the PD website of the barwon facde. we'll only render the pillars, rest will be brick Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: PD Stanford with Barwon Facade pics wanted 3Jul 30, 2009 10:46 am Hi Emmzy, I'd go for a render that isn't a colorbond colour. I notice that on new estates most houses seems to use colorbond colours for render, I'd personally choose something different for a bit of individuality. Are you going for off white mortar or standard mortar? That could make a difference to how the house feels and help with the decisions. And also, check if you can have Jasper windows, we are Prestige and Jasper wasn't an option for us. I know that Access is probably a different supplier, but I don't remember seeing Jasper as an option in the window section. I'd go black windows, but I'm biased, I love them. Remember that you will see the windows from inside the house, so think about your internal colours with your windows as well as the external. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Also, we don't mind the paperbark but feel that there are a lot of cream based houses so are wanting to go a bit darker on the outside Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size. My custom builder standard is 350mm with rendering, but i asked for 470mm plus stone or tiles and yet to get… 0 4299 traditional gable roof facade - Have you did the dark and light gray color combination in facade with gray stone in facade… 0 1829 Looking to tile the facade pillars rather than rendering. Builder is quoting 2500$ laying cost for upto 10msq. The 2 pillars come to be 16msq. So laying costs are 5000$… 0 3983 |
